Technology That Enables a Sim Card GSM Mobile Phone 4

BEIJING - A cellular user in Indonesia, most have two to four phones. If the mobile phone dual sim card was used, now only one phone can be filled with 4 simcard.
Chinese semiconductor company, Spreadtrum Communications claims to have developed a chip that can accommodate four numbers at once. Chip solution is considered the first in the world.
Single chip entitled SC6600L6 allows four GSM simcard operated simultaneously in one phone only.
SC6600L6 allowing four runs GSM sim cards simultaneously on the stand to ride baseband and radio frequency the same. Single chip integrated processor machine and controller to support four sim cards and maximize the graphic interface improved for four sim.
This product is not always activate the existing four cards. Mobile users can choose to turn on the desired number of cards, either only one sim card, two, or three, with the maximum number of active sim card is 4 as long as it was still in the same frequency.
This product supports multisim different options, including dual SIM, triple SIM, and empatSIM in a set of baseband and RF chip, providing more options for handset designers and meet the needs of users from different regions.
"Quad-sim Solutions is the latest discovery as evidence of our efforts to maximize technological innovation," said President and CEO of Spreadtrum Dr. Leo Li, as quoted by Cellular News, on Wednesday (03/11/2010).
Previously, Spreadtrum is also known as a company that found the chip phone that can be used for two to three simcard.
"We dedicate our product's value by creating an attractive feature for our customers. Solution four simcard in a phone is certainly going to be quite useful in countries with many mobile operators, and also for business people who want to always connect," said Li.
